Privacy Policy

This policy covers ads-caffeine.com, the company website of AdsCaffeine LLP. It is a small site: a page about the company and a contact form. There is no account to open, nothing to buy, and no login.

Our product, raw2ads, is a separate service with its own privacy policy. If you are a raw2ads user asking about your account, your uploads or your billing, the policy that applies to you is the one at raw2ads.com/legal/privacy, not this one.

We are an independent software company. We design, build and operate our own products. We no longer provide advertising or marketing services to clients, and this website does not sell anything.

2. What we collect, and when

If you write to us

The contact form asks for your name, your email address and your message. What you send is delivered to our inbox as an email. It is not saved in a database on this website. We use it to answer you, and for nothing else: no newsletter, no marketing list, no profiling.

If you just read the site

We count visits with Umami, an analytics tool we host ourselves on our own server at analytics.ads-caffeine.com. It records which pages were opened, roughly where in the world the visit came from, the type of device and browser, and which site linked here. It does not set cookies, it does not build a profile of you, and it cannot follow you to other websites. The numbers stay on our server and are not shared with an advertising network.

What the servers record anyway

Like any website, the hosting provider and the network in front of it keep technical logs: IP address, time of the request, page requested, browser identification. These exist to keep the site up and to stop abuse, and they are deleted on the provider’s own schedule.

3. Cookies

This site does not set cookies. There is no advertising pixel, no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, and no tracker belonging to anyone else. That is also why you are not being asked to click through a consent banner.

4. Why we are allowed to do this

• Answering a message you sent us: we need your data to do the thing you asked for.
• Counting visits and keeping the site secure: our legitimate interest in knowing whether anyone reads this and in keeping it online. It is measured without cookies and without identifying you, which is what keeps that interest reasonable.

5. Who else sees it

We do not sell your data and we do not trade it. It is handled by the companies that keep this site running: our web host, the network provider in front of the site, and our email provider. They act on our instructions. Our analytics is not on that list, because we run it ourselves.

We may also disclose information if a law or a valid legal order requires it.

6. Where it goes

AdsCaffeine LLP is registered in Canada and our servers are in Europe, so a message you send may be stored or read in either place. When data belonging to someone in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom moves outside it, we rely on the safeguards our providers have in place for those transfers.

7. How long we keep it

• Your message: as long as the conversation is useful, and then it is deleted. If it turns into something we need on record, such as a contract or a partnership, it is kept for as long as that record is needed.
• Visit statistics: kept as counts. There is no personal record to delete, because none is created.
• Server logs: a short window, set by the provider.

8. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can ask us to:

• tell you what data of yours we hold, and give you a copy;
• correct it, if it is wrong;
• delete it;
• restrict what we do with it, or object to it;
• receive it in a portable form.

Write to [email protected] and we will answer. In practice, for this website, the request is almost always “delete the email I sent you”, and we will. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

10. Changes

If we change how this site handles data, we change this page and move the date at the top. If we ever add a tool that does set cookies, the banner arrives at the same time as the tool, not after it.
